Carl’s medical background started when he became a paramedic for the US Air Force during the Vietnam conflict. His career continued with progressive experience at the U.S. Government Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in Personnel Compensation and Insurance Programs. He has held a variety of management positions with Lockheed Martin and Pacificare of Colorado involving group and individual insurance programs. Throughout the years, he has witnessed first-hand the quality of care being sacrificed to offset spiraling medical costs. At the same time, his own family fell victim to financial hardship when his father was stricken with cancer and required extensive care, which literally exhausted the family assets. His mother never recovered from the emotional, physical and financial demands of his father’s care.

Carl chose to dedicate himself to helping people plan for the real possibility of needing Long Term Care. After extensive training, study and preparation, he became licensed to represent many of the top insurance companies offering Long Term Care insurance. He is a Certified Senior Advisor, having successfully completed a rigorous course of instruction, and a comprehensive examination on the many concerns that will impact today’s maturing market. As a broker for ACSIA, a company established in 1956, his product portfolio represents more than 85% of the nation’s Long Term Care insurance coverage currently in effect.

Today, Carl devotes his energy to helping folks make informed decisions about Long Term Care by provoking thought, presenting options and formulating plans.
